Meet Joana!

Joana is a loving and cheerful student who is entering 9th grade. With a love for coloring and volleyball, Joana enjoys being creative and active. Her favorite subjects are English because she is eager to be fluent, and Spanish because she finds it interesting. Joana's favorite colors are red and pink, and her favorite food is any Mexican food. When asked what she is most grateful for at Instituto Esperanza, Joana said “The education they give, and the patience the teachers have when explaining things over and over”. One day, Joana hopes to become a flight attendant to leave San Luis and travel the world. At home, Joana lives with her mom and 3 siblings.
