Meet Laila!

Laila is a happy and sometimes serious student who is entering 4th grade. With a love for helping her mom with house chores and drawing flowers, Laila brings beauty into each space she enters. Her favorite subject is English because she wants to speak English fluently. Laila's favorite color is yellow, and her favorite food is sushi. When asked how Instituto Esperanza has helped her, Laila said “I learn how to speak English and how to read. They also give us food”. One day, Laila hopes to become a veterinarian to heal, take care of, and protect animals. At home, Laila lives with her grandma and aunt.
