Meet Milka!

Milka is a happy and stong student who is entering 6th grade. With a love for books, art, and poetry, Milka is artistic and creative. Her favorite subject is Science because she learns interesting things about gender and addictions. Milka's favorite color is black and her favorite foods are spaghetti with meatballs, broth, and tacos. When asked what she is most grateful for at Instituto Esperanza, Milka said “They have helped my family a lot. I have more friends, I have learned to respect others, and I learn more in every subject.” One day, Milka hopes to become a baker, and she dreams of owning her own bakery. At home, Milka lives with her mom, stepfather, and 1 brother.
